When you reflect on things you have done and experienced, they leave a stronger and deeper impression. The Record and Reflect Practice is designed to enhance the sense of Experience and amplify the mark the things you Observe leave.
Reflection allows your brain to contemplate things it might otherwise ignore or give little meaning to. Often, during Reflection, you will gain a new perspective and discover things you haven’t noticed in real-time. Therefore, Reflection enables more things to leave a more profound mark.
actionable steps
Maintain an Insight Journal.
Record things you do and Observe, Imagine, or Wonder at, as well as any insight you have during the day.
At the end of the day, revisit what you have recorded and use it for Reflection. Re-live what you have Experienced, but make room also for new perspectives and insights.
Save some time for deeper Reflection at the end of the week.
